A Stakeholder Dissemination Seminar was organized on 20 February 2026 to present the achievements of Project “Sangaath” implemented by Deepak Foundation. The initiative focuses on enabling marginalized and underserved communities in Vagra and Bharuch talukas of Bharuch district to access government welfare schemes and essential documentation services.

The seminar was held in the presence of Yogesh Kapase (IAS), District Development Officer, Bharuch.
Launched initially at 21 locations across three states, the project is currently operational at 17 locations in two states. Over the past five years, under the CSR initiatives of Deepak Group of Companies, the program has worked extensively across 42 villages in Vagra and Bharuch talukas to enhance awareness of government schemes and strengthen access to public services.

Since inception, Project “Sangaath” has covered more than 1.30 lakh families and 3.20 lakh individuals across India. Facilitation support has been extended for approximately 8.40 lakh applications related to government schemes and essential documents, with an estimated 92% approval rate. Beneficiaries nationwide have received benefits exceeding ₹128 crore through successful scheme linkages.

In Bharuch district specifically, the project has covered over 13,000 families and 41,000 beneficiaries across 42 villages. Assistance was provided for more than 1.10 lakh applications, achieving a 96% approval rate. Beneficiaries in the district have received cumulative benefits exceeding ₹624 crore in the form of cash assistance, in-kind support, and insurance coverage.

The seminar was attended by senior officials of Deepak Group of Companies, representatives from various government departments, Talati-cum-Mantris of the villages, staff members from Deepak Foundation’s offices in Bharuch and Ankleshwar, project beneficiaries, and members of the media.
