World Environment Day was celebrated at the primary school in Akhod village of Vagra taluka of Bharuch district under “Project Vivek Vidya” implemented by Deepak Foundation in collaboration with Deepak Phenolics.
on June 5, 2025, this program featured special activities and tree plantation for environmental awareness. More than 50 students planted trees and also took responsibility for their conservation with the aim of increasing environmental awareness among children.
SMC Committee Chairman Jaideep Singh Parmar, Talati Vijaybhai Damor, Panchayat Member Shri Vijaybhai Gohil and the “Vivek Vidya” team of Deepak Foundation were present on this occasion.
“Project Vivek Vidya” has also provided various educational activities as well as library facilities for language development in rural schools to develop reading skills, language knowledge, creativity and thinking skills among children.
Through this program, efforts were made to create awareness among children about the environment and also to make them understand the importance of trees.
